Description:

Tuesday evening the Hahamongna Advisory Committee will consider whether they should ask the Pasadena City Council to reconsider a 2003 plan to add athletic fields and a parking lot in the middle of the Hahamongna basin.

This rare environmental gem, located the the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains, is the most valuable water and environmental resource in our region. It's time to undo a bad decision from seven years ago. Soccer fields are great, but Pasadena should locate them in neighborhoods and at schools for accessibility, not despoil one of our last and most precious environmental treasures.

We urge you to show up Tuesday evening and speak up for protection of the unique wetlands and riparian zone at Hahamongna.
