Cleanup of the Arroyo Seco Confluence which is a major node of pollution in the LA River System and the Pacific Ocean.

Description:

Each year, thousands of people around the world come together on the 3rd Saturday in September to clean local beaches, parks, schools, riverbanks and neighborhoods. It’s the largest volunteer day on the planet, and we hope you’ll be there for the next Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, Sept.15, 2012, 9 a.m. until noon.
