Description:

Join us this Earth Month as we remove invasive plant species from the natural stream zone below Devil's Gate Dam. We will focus on two species in particular that threaten native riparian ecology and biodiversity: French broom (Genista monspessulana) and sticky eupatory (Ageratina adenophora). There will be special kid-friendly activities as well.

Volunteers are advised to wear long sleeves and closed-toe shoes. The area where we will be working is generally shady, but refillable water bottles and hats are encouraged. Tools, gloves, and lunch will be provided.

ASF thanks the Southern California Gas Company for sponsoring this event!

Please RSVP to scott@arroyoseco.org no later than Wednesday, April 23 to be included in the lunch order.
