PASADENA -- The historic Arroyo Seco Parkway, more commonly known as the Pasadena (110) Freeway, will be closed to traffic Sunday for ArroyoFest.

The event aims to celebrate the culture, transportation, history and environment of the Arroyo Seco. The closure will allow participants to bike or hike the length of the freeway, with a community festival from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Sycamore Park in Highland Park.

The freeway will be closed to traffic both ways between Glenarm Street in Pasadena and Avenue 26 in Los Angeles, from 6 to 10 a.m.

The cost is $10 for bikers and it\'s free for walkers. Bike riders must be register prior to the start of the ride, which begins at 7 a.m.
