Content: | Last week, the Council of Arroyo Seco Organizations - an umbrella group of 30 organizations working to preserve our environment - met with Congressman Adam Schiff and presented him with an award for his leadership on environmental issues. The award noted Schiff\'s \"valuable service to the Arroyo Seco Watershed, contributing to the well being of the natural communities and improving the quality of life in the Arroyo Seco.\" \"I share the Council of Arroyo Seco Organization\'s commitment to restoring the Arroyo, and I\'m grateful for their recognition,\" said Schiff. \"The watershed is in strong need of restoration, and the community has joined together to make this happen. I\'m glad to be part of the effort.\" Schiff has secured funding for the restoration efforts each year in the federal budget. |
