Content: | I urge your readers and the voters of Pasadena to vote \"no\" on Measure A. Not only are there traffic issues and less ability to pursue recreational activities for our citizens, but the Rose Bowl will be disfigured by the NFL plan and will not ever be the same. The \"new\" stadium will not resemble the wonderful historic structure we are so proud of. If the NFL has such a great product, why are they attempting to make stadiums smaller? Their Coliseum plan also calls for less seating. Meanwhile in the last few years, Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan and Notre Dame among others have all added additional seating to satisfy demand. I bet USC wishes the Coliseum had many more seats, not less like the NFL wants, to satisfy its fans. Lowering the capacity of the Rose Bowl will have unintended consequences not only for the most famous bowl game, but even many regular season UCLA games. Vote \"no\" on Measure A. William W.
