Content: | $1 billion: the cost to upgrade the Rose Bowl to a gaudy, glitzy tart that would be open for business every day. The NFL owners do not want to pay this cost. $1 billion: the cost for an NFL team that may or may not make money, which no one (even those not in their right minds) wants to pay. $10 million: the amount of money the NFL spent on Los Angeles and Anaheim to judge their feasibility as future NFL sites. This is $10 million more than they spent on Pasadena\'s feasibility as a future NFL site. The feeling is mutual - they don\'t want us, and we don\'t want them. $2 million: the cash flow Pasadena is supposedly lacking each year after Rose Bowl renovations that cost $50 million. $80 million each year: the money needed to support an additional $2 billion investment would probably be at least 40 times larger just to cover the negative. Consider ballot Measure A: 25 weekends: the number turned over to the NFL with the Aquatic Center, Kidspace Museum, Brookside Golf Course (that subsidizes the Rose Bowl), the parks, the trails and the places for joggers, bikers and nature lovers all closed. This would be the virtual end of the Arroyo as we know and love it. 18,000 parking spaces: the number of parking spaces given over to NFL weekends, with 18,000 car emissions, horrific traffic jams and the trash and vomit from 70,000 partygoers who really don\'t care about the pristine beauty of Pasadena\'s Arroyo. Truly immeasurable: the money, the time and the energy wasted on MeasureA and the NFL by Pasadena, Irwindale, Los Angeles, Carson and Anaheim. Vote \"no.\" Let them suck the blood from someone else.
