PASADENA -- John Moag, the Maryland-based consultant hired by the City Council to bring an NFL team to the Rose Bowl, will speak Wednesday at the Pasadena Senior Center\'s Scott\'s Pavilion, 85 E. Holly St.

Moag will discuss the status of the Rose Bowl Operating Company\'s ongoing negotiations with National Football League owners. Recently, a Pasadena contingent visited with the owners in Florida.

Pasadena Heritage, the local preservation society, has criticized the city and its negotiating team for not being more forthcoming about the extent to which the Rose Bowl might have to be reconstructed to accommodate a professional football team.

The event is open to the public, and the audience will be given a chance to ask questions. The meeting is sponsored by the Pasadena Senior Center and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. For more information, call (626) 795-4331.
