The Los Angeles Times today features the Arroyo Seco confluence as a dramatic example of what LA River revitalization might mean. The colorful graphic display shows the proposed Arroyo Seco wetlands at the confluence with the Los Angeles River near Dodger Stadium and just north of downtown. The wetlands would filter rainfall and runoff to improve water quality in the LA River. It's a powerful demonstration of how central the Arroyo Seco confluence can be to LA River revitalization efforts.
