Content: | MONTECITO HEIGHTS, -- Two people were critically injured when their car struck a wall and fell into the Arroyo Seco, a California Highway Patrol officer said Sunday. The accident occurred on the northbound Pasadena (110) Freeway just south of Pasadena Avenue in Montecito Heights about 11:15 p.m. Monday, said CHP Officer David Porter. The red Chevrolet Camaro hit a wall on the right shoulder of the freeway and flipped over it into the river, Porter said. Firefighters used ropes to rescue two victims who were transported to hospital with critical injuries. The victims were a man and a woman, according to a camera crew at the scene. |
