Avenue 57, Los Angeles, 90042 Join the Council of Arroyo Seco Organizations for a Post Election Potluck to celebrate the end of the election season! Bring your favorite dish to share and we\'ll bring beverages, plates, and utensils. Come share updates and materials on your organization\'s current projects. Help plan the December 2008 Arroyo Verde Awards. Discuss CASO\'s mission, goals, and organizational structure. Hear an update on the Arroyo Seco Central Stream Restoration Projects, and Learn about upcoming Arroyo Seco projects for collaboration related to the Hahamongna and the Confluence. CASO\'s Mission The purpose of the Council of Arroyo Seco Organizations (CASO) is to promote communication and cooperation between community-based organizations working to improve and enhance the Arroyo Seco region from the San Gabriel Mountains to the confluence with the Los Angeles River. CASO aspires to cultivate a sense of place that defines this unique region by addressing such issues as environmental, transportation, historic, recreational, cultural, and economic resources. |
