Save the Southwest Museum

It's a gem of the Arroyo founded by Arroyo scion Charles Fletcher Lummis in 1914.  But now after a merger two years ago with the Autry Center, the collection is being moved, and there is increasing doubt that the Mount Washington site will continue to exist as a museum.

The Southwest Museum's internationally renown collection offers unique art, artifacts and insights into the lives of our Native American predecessors.

The Arroyo Seco Foundation is a proud member of the Friends of the Southwest Museum Coalition, a dynamic effort of more than 75 organizations working to preserve the museum as one our our nation's premiere anthropological institutes.

We urge you to get involved in saving this priceless Arroyo treasure.
