Yes, we can restore a living stream in the Arroyo Seco! It's a key tributary of the Los Angeles River and LA County's best candidate for real stream restoration to meet the challenges of water resiliency and climate change.

Here's a great way to get involved in Arroyo Seco protection and restoration efforts. Become an active part of the Arroyo Seco Stream Team.

After training, Arroyo Seco Stream Team members can get involved in projects such as mapping habitat, exotic pest plants and other stream conditions, cleanups of trash, debris and invasive plants, working in our native plant nursery, and water quality sampling.

The Stream Team will also serve as watershed ambassadors, educating stakeholders and the general public about their watershed and how to be good stewards.
