Arroyo Seco Master Plan Status
March 31, 2002 -- City staff informed the Recreation and Parks Commission that the Arroyo Seco Master Plan and Environmental Impact Report will be released on May 15. There will then be a 45 day review period to public input with a public meeting held during that period to solicit comments. February 9, 2002 -- The long-awaited project description for the Arroyo Seco Master Plan has now been released by the City of Pasadena. Even though the Pasadena City Council has tentatively adopted master plans for Hahamongna Watershed Park, the Central Arroyo, and Pasadena's Lower Arroyo, there has been a lot of confusion about what the Arroyo Seco Master Plan actually would include and what projects and issues will be included in the Environmental Impact Report. A sixty-four page Summary Project Description hot off the presses details the complete list of projects being considered.
