E. Aaron Martinez is working for his Eagle Scout badge with Boy Scout Troop #5. He and his team did a terrific job cleaning up the Arroyo Seco stream near the Colorado Street Bridge on Earth Day. Here is how he described his report:

"I met with the Arroyo Seco Foundation (ASF), my Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout Service Project’s Beneficiary. I presented to Tim Brick a check from the proceeds of my fundraising efforts. Mr. Brick explained that this money will be used against a matching challenge grant recently obtained by ASF, increasing its value. This will allow ASF to continue doing its good work protecting the Arroyo Seco Watershed. I felt good about doing this."
