Help Beautify the Arroyo Seco Confluence on Coastal Cleanup Day!

On Saturday, September 16th, from 9:00 a.m. till noon, over 10,000 volunteers are expected to come together in L.A. County, taking action to rid our beaches and inland waterways of unsightly and harmful debris. Ninety-one countries around the world will take part in this extraordinary, international event!

You can help cleanup the Arroyo Seco's Confluence with the Los Angeles River. This is a historic spot that has seen better days. By taking care of the Confluence, we keep trash and other debris out of the Los Angeles River, and out of the ocean at Long Beach.

Join us on September 16th at 497 N. San Fernando Road, and park at the Home Depot parking lot. You can also take the Gold Line, Lincoln Heights/Cypress Park Station and the 81 Bus Line. Follow the signs to the Confluence and you will be there. The day begins at 9:00 am and we will be finished by noon.
